Urbanna Holiday Homes Tour 2011
The 2011 Historic Urbanna Holiday House Tour was "a success." Structures on the tour included Breezy Pointe, home of John and Cathy Newcomb; Rest and Be Thankful, home of George and Helen DeVries; Kinnaree, home of Emily Davies; Hall Cottage, home of Lewis and Cerise Hall and family; and historic Lansdowne, home of Diane and A.B. Gravatt.

CCS Football: 2011 State Champs
Christchurch School routs Potomac School 48-15 for State Division II VISAA Football Championship on November 19 on Dischinger Field at Christchurch. Christchurch played a perfect season this year. In 10 games, CCS outscored their opponents 419-65.

Boot Shoot 2011
Boots and fashion footwear at the 2011 Urbanna Oyster Festival have been featured by Sentinel reporter Tom Chillemi in this year's "Boot Shoot." Friday's wet weather brought out colorful rain boots, and Saturday's cool weather was perfect for modeling fall fashions.

Oyster Festival 2011
When birds fly south, it’s time for visitors to flock to the feast of the Urbanna Oyster Festival. By the thousands, visitors will cross the Urbanna Creek bridge and awaken the small town in a grand way, as they have every autumn since 1957.
