Yates House Student Art Exhibit
The Yates House in Deltaville hosted a juried art exhibit for students of Middlesex County, which included the public school system as well as Christchurch School. Rona Sullivan complemented the event with her guitar and vocals.

Pride of Middlesex Ceremony 2009
The Rotary Club of Middlesex County honored sisters Ruby Lee Norris and Rachel Bridger with the prestigious Pride of Middlesex award for putting service before self. The banquet was held at Christchurch School and drew a large crowd of supporters who shared fond memories of the sisters.

A Holly Point Easter at the Deltaville Maritime Museum
Easter is always fun at the Holly Point Nature Park and Deltaville Maritime Museum. This year's celebration featured a huge egg hunt, an Easter bonnet competition, craft classes and more. There were even Pygmy goats, bunny rabbits and other furry animals to play with.

Cafe Arts in Urbanna: Meet the Artists Reception
The historic Taylor building at 51 Cross Street in Urbanna was home to an art show that brought local artists and enthusiasts together for an evening of conversation and creativity. The well-attended event proved that fine arts are alive and thriving in Middlesex County.

Oyster and Ham Dinner to support the UMVFD
The Ladies Auxiliary hosted its annual Oyster and Ham Supper to benefit the Upper Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department and it was a huge success. This soundslide is narrated by Cathy Russell, one of the event's founders, who explains why it is so important to the UMVFD.
