Wrestling: MHS vs. Caroline
The Middlesex High School wrestling team faced a group of tough Caroline and Sussex Central grapplers on January 11 at MHS. The Chargers defeated Sussex 38-30, and lost to the Caroline 48-24. “Our kids showed a lot of heart in the win over Sussex Central,” said MHS coach Joel Anderson. “We also had a great Middlesex fan base to support us.”

Urbanna Holiday Homes Tour 2011
The 2011 Historic Urbanna Holiday House Tour was "a success." Structures on the tour included Breezy Pointe, home of John and Cathy Newcomb; Rest and Be Thankful, home of George and Helen DeVries; Kinnaree, home of Emily Davies; Hall Cottage, home of Lewis and Cerise Hall and family; and historic Lansdowne, home of Diane and A.B. Gravatt.

CCS Football: 2011 State Champs
Christchurch School routs Potomac School 48-15 for State Division II VISAA Football Championship on November 19 on Dischinger Field at Christchurch. Christchurch played a perfect season this year. In 10 games, CCS outscored their opponents 419-65.
