RCC debuts new Baking and Pastry Fundamentals Program
Making use of the brand-new space at the Glenns Campus for her culinary arts program has not been a problem for Chef Hatley Bright. In her state-of-the-art lab, she is able to run many classes and focus on many different levels of preparation and food fundamentals.

RCC has new healthcare scholarships
Thanks to a generous $50,000 gift from HealthKeepers Inc. for Anthem HealthKeepers Plus Medicaid Plan members, Rappahannock Community College (RCC) is now able to offer scholarships to students to take advantage of many of the school’s disciplines.


RI Academy Alumni to hold banquet
imageThe Rappahannock Industrial Academy Alumni Association will hold its annual banquet on Saturday, July 21, at 1 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 317 Town Bridge Road, Saluda. The public is invited to attend the banquet.


MES registering new students
Middlesex Elementary School at Locust Hill will register new students for the upcoming school year by appointment. Items required for registration include the child’s original birth certificate, proof of residence (lease, deed, or mortgage statement and current utility bill), school entrance physical examination, immunization record, and any other pertinent information such as custody papers.
