Governor’s School wins 2nd place in robotics competition
The Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School (CBGS) won second place overall in the Ranger Division of the Mid-Atlantic Regional MATE ROV Underwater Robotics Competition held at Old Dominion University (ODU) on Saturday, May 4. This is the first year CBGS has competed in the Ranger category, the highest and most competitive level offered at the competition.


Julien Patterson to be RCC commencement speaker
Rappahannock Community College is looking forward to its 47th commencement exercise on Friday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m. at its Warsaw Campus. This commencement is significant in the lives of RCC students and the college community.


VCU School of Nursing opens accelerated path to a degree through RCC
The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Nursing has partnered with Rappahannock Community College (RCC) to offer accelerated coursework to registered nurses who are students at the colleges, providing them a faster path to obtaining a bachelor’s degree. Students will be enrolled concurrently at VCU and RCC.
