Moore graduates with honors
Anna Moore, Christchurch School Class of 2015, graduated from the University of Lynchburg magna cum laude on Saturday, May 18, with a bachelor’s of arts degree in environmental studies and health promotion. Moore was an eight semester dean’s list student.

Daniel on dean’s list
Christopher Newport University has announced the dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester. A student must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale to receive this honor. Macie Daniel of Middlesex earned this honor for the spring of 2019 and the fall semester of 2018.


Academy class explores Holocaust in context

Governor’s School wins 2nd place in robotics competition
The Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School (CBGS) won second place overall in the Ranger Division of the Mid-Atlantic Regional MATE ROV Underwater Robotics Competition held at Old Dominion University (ODU) on Saturday, May 4. This is the first year CBGS has competed in the Ranger category, the highest and most competitive level offered at the competition.
