Y preschool is enrolling students
The Middlesex Family YMCA invites the public to experience the Y’s preschool program, which emphasizes development through character values, enrichment, and explorative learning.
Judy Emanuel returns for her second year at the Middlesex YCMA as the lead preschool teacher. With seven years of kindergarten teaching experience in the Mathews County Public School System, Judy equips students to advance to the next stages of learning. The Brightly Beaming Steps to Reading Program is just one tool used in the Y Preschool that helps kids flourish.
Giving opportunities for all regardless of income or circumstance, the Middlesex Family YMCA offers preschool to the community at a rate affordable to all. Programs include: two-day program at $80/month for members and $90/month for program participants; three-day program at $110/month for members and $120/month for program participants; five-day program at $160/month for members and $185/month for program participants. The Guardian Scholarships program is always available to families in need of financial assistance. Please call the Y’s Welcome Center (758-8846) for required paperwork to apply.
The Middlesex YMCA Preschool Program serves children ages 2 1/2 to 5. The Y will host a “meet the teacher” and registration evening on Thursday, August 14, and will offer no registration fees at that time.
