Violinist to give concert in Gloucester
Abingdon Episcopal Church at White Marsh in Gloucester County will host Bulgarian violinist Bella Hristova at 5 p.m. Saturday, January 21, at the church.
The concert will mark the third this season in the Arts at Abingdon Series. A free-will offering will be taken.
Hristova is an award-winning musician. Highlights from her 2011-12 season include a return as soloist with the New York String Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, an appearance in Ravinia’s Rising Stars Series, a tour with Musicians from Marlboro, and performances throughout the season with CMS Two at Lincoln Center, said Arts at Abingdon committee member L. Warren Haley Jr.
Upcoming concerts in the 2011-2012 Arts at Abingdon season are the Virginia Children’s Chorus February 5 and the Merling Trio March 10.
