Vest earns Masters
Ellen Glass Vest of Deltaville earned a master’s degree in psychology and counseling from Regent University in May 2008.
She is a 1979 graduate of VCU with a BA in religion and philosophy.
She is currently a paramedic and firefighter for 15 years for the City of Newport News.
Since 1983, she has been a volunteer for MCVRS-Deltaville; and since 1996, the education coordinator for PEMS (Peninsula Emergency Medical Services) and Administrative Coordinator for its CISM team (Critical Incident Stress Management).
Her daughter, Shannon Rae Vest, is also a graduate of VCU and her son, Joey Vest, is currently a student there.
