Two Middlesex County families have opened their homes to foreign exchange students.  Luciano Catanzaro, of Valencia, Spain, and Mario Kieselbach, of Rosenfeld, Germany, have come to study in the United States for 10 months.  Both will be attending Middlesex High School.

Luciano is being hosted by John and Kerry Polson of Wake. An avid rugby player at home in Spain, he looks forward to trying some American sports. On his return to Spain, he will graduate and hopes to further his education in the field of engineering.

Mario’s host family is Scott and Sarah Rae of Urbanna. In Germany, Mario plays soccer for his local soccer club and looks forward to playing for Middlesex High School. He will return to Germany to complete high school and wishes to pursue his post-secondary education in the field of medicine.

Anyone interested in finding out more information about the CIEE exchange student program can contact the local coordinator, Becky Bell, at (804) 254-8789 or visit the website ciee.org.
