TSA students to showcase skills on May 29
St. Clare Walker Middle School (SCW) students in the Technology Student Association (TSA) competed and placed well at the Virginia TSA Technosphere 2013 State Leadership Conference.
The SCW TSA performance at the state competition has guaranteed advancement to the National TSA Conference, scheduled for June 28-July 2 in Orlando, Florida.
Middlesex County Public Schools has graciously agreed to send the students to the National TSA Conference, but additional financial support is needed. “We ask that you will consider a sponsorship donation to help pay for dinner meals during the National TSA Conference for the 11 students, TSA advisor, and chaperones to ease the financial burden of competing at the national level,” said SCW technology teacher Matthew Short.
“Additionally, we invite you to attend the SCW TSA Open House at St. Clare Walker Middle School on Wednesday, May 29, from 5-7 p.m. The students will give presentations about their competitive events and share their experiences at the regional and state competitions. Please accept our most sincere thanks for your support and consideration!”
