Several Middlesex High School students participated in the VHSL Regional Forensics Competition on March 6 at West Point High School.

Three MHS students, Rebecca Walker, Lilly Crown and Joseph McComas all qualified to compete at the state level in Harrisonburg on April 10.

Crown and McComas finished first in Duo Interpretation category, and Walker placed third in Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking category.

Cydney Fisher also qualified for the regional competition but did not compete because of illness. Fisher won the Storytelling category at the district level.

Teacher Timothy Drummond was the faculty advisor.
