RCC degrees, certificates are awarded
As a service to its students, Rappahannock Community College awards degrees and certificates after each academic semester, rather than only in the spring. Graduates receive their academic credentials at the time they complete their curricular requirements, and may then march in the commencement procession the following May, if they wish.
One hundred eighteen students took advantage of this opportunity to graduate at the end of the Fall 2013 Semester, earning 143 degrees and certificates among them.
Middlesex County graduates include Maribel L. Balderas, Sarah E. Daniel, John B. Eanes, Melissa L. Hall, James E. Hornbeck, Ashley N. Lane, Tekia S. Peters, Shannon L. Phelps, Melissa R. Ranger, DeNelle A. Reed, Hannah G. Therrien and Alicia G. Wilder.
Balderas, Daniel, Lane and Wilder earned cum laude honors (grade point average of 3.2 to 3.49).
