RCC adult ed program offers GED prep classes
For adult learners, especially those who wish to obtain a GED, the Rappahannock Community College Adult Education Program has scheduled several valuable classes for September. Those who do not feel ready to attempt the GED exam can prepare for it with “Adult Basic Education,” “English as a Second Language,” or both.
Or, if students do well on the placement tests, they can move directly into Adult Ed’s GED test review class, which gives detailed coaching for the exams.
Interested students must attend a pre-testing, orientation, and registration consultation to occur between August 25 and September 12 before enrolling in any of these courses. To make an appointment, call 804-333-6829 as soon as possible.
All classes start on September 15. Morning, afternoon or evening sessions, Monday through Thursday, are available at RCC’s Warsaw Campus or Kilmarnock Center. Evening times will be offered in Montross, Colonial Beach and Northumberland County.
