Members of the St. Clare Walker (SCW) Middle School Technology Student Association (TSA) chapter continue their construction challenge project with the Deltaville Maritime Museum.
During the past week, the students developed signage designs to meet the needs of the museum. A meeting with museum vice president Bill Powell and park director Marvin Tiller was held on March 23. The students presented the preliminary designs to Mr. Powell and Mr. Tiller for their guidance and input by the club members.
After evaluation and a few minor suggested changes, the team settled on the revisions, which will be presented to the Deltaville Maritime Museum Executive Board for approval. The TSA chapter members will be working hard on making the revisions to the signs and prototypes prior to meeting with the museum board.
The TSA students will continue to keep the public updated on their progress with the project. SCW TSA members include: Kenneth Beam, Brooke Daniel, Jack Graulich, Chloe Hodges, Kevin Horton, Andrew Hudson, Jeffery Jones, Jerry Lindsey, Cole Radabaugh, Tyler Radabaugh, Jack Ruark, and TSA advisor Matthew Short.
