MHS FBLA members to compete at state level

Middlesex High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

Middlesex High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) have qualified to compete at the State Leadership Conference.

Throughout the month of February, MHS students competed at regional FBLA events. The results were positive and several MHS students are now eligible to compete at the state level at the Hyatt Regency in Reston on April 5-6.  

Capital Region results for Middlesex High School are: Banking and Financial Systems—Sarah Baker, second place; Business Communication—Madysen Davis, third place; Computer Applications—Devan Rutherford, second place; Introduction to FBLA—Alexzandra Hosmer, first place, and Cortney Brittingham, third place; Marketing—Autumn McMeechan, second place; and Word Processing—Mary Casto, second place.

Cortney Brittingham, a sophomore, will be competing in “Introduction to FBLA” at the State Leadership Conference and Mary Casto, a sophomore, will be competing in “Word Processing.”
