MHS band fruit sale under way

The public is asked to help support the Middlesex High School band by participating in its annual fruit sale.

This year the band has partnered with Florida Indian River Groves to provide the freshest fruit available. Fruit will be harvested the very same day its shipped, ensuring that buyers in Middlesex receive fruit that is hours off of the tree.

Products that are available include navel oranges, pink grapefruit, Florida tangelos, and mixed cartons of navel oranges and grapefruit. Delivery will be in early December.

“And don’t forget your friends, family and coworkers,” said band director Daphne Guill. “Everyone loves fresh fruit from Florida!”

Orders can be placed with any band member, or by calling 776-7700.
