MES K-Kids help Haiti

imageMiddlesex Elementary School K-Kids recently joined forces with faculty and staff to collect needed items to create personal care kits for Haiti. The kits included washcloths, hand towels, bar soap, band aides, combs and toothbrushes.

The kits were suggested by MHS principal Jeannie Duke, who had heard about this project through her church. Both Duke and her son Mason, the K-Kids vice president, wanted a hands-on project to help with the devastation.

Approximately 100 kits were created.
