McCarty to study in Ireland
Ashley McCarty, daughter of Daphne Melvin of Saluda, will study abroad at the National University of Ireland in Galway, Ireland, during the spring 2013 semester.
McCarty is a junior at the University of Richmond, where she is majoring in history.
