Learning about “going green”


Middlesex Elementary students in Amy Daniel’s first grade class got a lesson in the “3Rs” (reduce, re-use and recycle) when Gloucester Clean Community Coordinator Lorna Lindsey visited the class recently. The children were inspired to “go green” after seeing lots of products made from recycled materials, including pencils made from denim, purses made from juice boxes, and carpet made from plastic bottles.
