‘Kids First’ students exceed average scores

Lancaster Primary School children who participated in the initial Kids First high quality early preschool class for at-risk 3-year-olds in 2012 have just completed second grade and their test results show that the program works.

The traditional gap in achievement has not only been closed, but their average test scores exceeded the grade-wide average of their more fortunate peers. Each subsequent class has demonstrated that they have closed the gap as well.
