Keesee named assistant head
Julianne D. Keesee of Hartfield has been appointed assistant head of school at Chesapeake Academy in Irvington. Keesee graduated from the College of William and Mary and earned a masters in education in educational leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Keesee, a master teacher, joined Chesapeake Academy in 2008 as the academic dean responsible for curriculum design, the integration of technology and 21st century skills into the curriculum, and faculty professional development.
Prior to joining the Chesapeake Academy staff, she worked in the Montgomery County Public Schools, The Episcopal High School of Baton Rouge, Porter-Gaud School and Christchurch School.
