‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ coming to Chesapeake Academy April 10

On Wednesday, April 10, Chesapeake Academy’s Performing Arts and Lecture Series (PALS) will present The Virginia Repertory Theatre’s production of “Jack and the Beanstalk.” This lively musical recounts the classic exploits of a young boy who trades the family cow for three magic beans. Tossed out the window by his disappointed mother, the beans grow into a giant beanstalk that leads to fabulous treasures, an ill-tempered giant, and more adventures than you can shake a stalk at.

Children ages 3 through grade 3 are invited to attend the 9:30 a.m. performance in the Chesapeake Academy gymnasium win Irvington.

Contact Hilary Scott at 804-438-5575 or to make a reservation for this program.

PALS programming is funded by the Wiley Foundation with support from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
