Interact is the Rotary Club’s community or school-based service organization for youth ages 12-18. The goals of Interact include development of personal integrity and leadership skills, demonstration of helpfulness and respect for others, understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work, and the advancement of international understanding and good will.

This year the Middlesex Rotary Club instituted an Interact Club at Middlesex High School. The first activity for the MHS club was working at this year’s annual Halloween at Holly Point in Deltaville. Members provided baked goods, handed out candy to trick-or-treaters, and participated in the “scary woods” portion of the event.

After this successful “inaugural” event, the MHS Interact Club is looking forward to involvement in future community projects.
