‘Homecoming Festival’ is Thursday at MHS

Parade, game, fireworks set for Friday

Middlesex High School will begin homecoming activities Thursday, October 22, with a “Homecoming Bonfire Spirit Festival” from 7 to 9 p.m.

The festival will be hosted by the MHS football program on the open field behind the school. There will be a moon walk, clown, games, face painting, photo booth, hot dogs, soda and baked goods. Tickets will be available at a ticket table on the field.

Those attending are encouraged to dress in school colors to enter a contest for most spirited (hair paint, face paint, etc., to be considered).

The public is invited to attend and participate in activities.

The homecoming parade will be Friday, October 23, at 5 p.m. It will begin in the courthouse area of Saluda and proceed to MHS.

The Chargers’ varsity football game against Northampton starts at 7 p.m.

There will be a fireworks display at halftime.
