Earl Brown earns GED
Earl D. Brown satisfactorily completed his GED studies on November 21 and his graduation ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 5.
Brown resumed his studies at the Deltaville Branch of the Middlesex County Public Library. To gain additional study time, he also received instruction at the Gloucester County Library where he was tutored by Jim Warren and Summer Adams.
Adult Literacy on the Middle Peninsula Inc. provides free one-to-one tutoring to adults who wish to improve basic reading and math skills, prepare for the GED tests, and teaches non-native speakers English as a second language. In addition, adults who qualify for American citizenship are assisted in the completion of the N-400, and taught a civics education course which prepares the future citizen with the knowledge to pass the civics education test for citizenship.
