Crittenden awarded scholarship

The Northern Neck Vegetable Growers Association (NNVGA) is proud to announce their 2014 NNVGA scholarship winners.

Robert Longest of Mechanicsville is the first place winner of a $5,000 scholarship. He is a 2011 graduate of Hanover County High School and is a rising senior at Virginia Tech.

Allison Crittenden of Hardyvillle is the second place winner of a $3,000 scholarship. She graduated from Christchurch School in 2012 and is attending Virginia Tech.

Aldyn Abell is the third place winner of a $2,000 scholarship. She was home-schooled and during her sophomore year began taking dual-enrollment classes at Rappahannock Community College. She is currently a junior at Virginia Tech.
