County school board begins budget talks
by Larry S. Chowning
The Middlesex County School Board will begin budget talks in February and has already discussed a proposed 2% salary increase along with a salary scale step increase for instructional personnel.
The budget will be discussed at the school board’s regular monthly meeting on Monday, February 11, at 7 p.m.
School board members and county supervisors will hold a joint budget work session on Tuesday, February 12, at 6 p.m. in the Cooks Corner Office Complex.
