Chesapeake Academy announces 2019 camps

Chesapeake Academy Sum-mer Camps combine adventure, the outdoors and a variety of summer fun.

“If you are looking for quality summer experiences for kids in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula, Chesapeake Academy has what you need,” said head of school Julianne T. Duvall. “Camp Irvington for ages 4-6, offering nine one week sessions on a 20 questions theme, is the answer to your summer childcare needs. And Camp Chesapeake brings back old favorites and debuts some new opportunities for the adventurous youngster.”

Register for all camps before April 1 to qualify for zero registration fees, said Duvall.

Camp Irvington
Camp Irvington, for ages 4-6, offers programming June 17-August 16. Campers will ask questions and explore themes to discover a mystery object each week. Through games, crafts, snacks, songs, books and field trips, campers will play and discover new interests and make new friends.

Camps begin at  8:15 a.m. and ends 5:30 p.m. The fee is $275 per week unless otherwise noted. There is a one-time registration fee of $30 per camper, which is waived for those who sign up by April 1. For a registration packet, visit http://www.chesapeakeacademy.org, or call 438-5575.
