CA to present ‘Circus in a Suitcase’

On Wednesday, March 13, Chesapeake Academy’s Performing Arts and Lecture Series (PALS) will present “Circus in a Suitcase.” Harold Wood teaches young children about self esteem as he introduces the audience to the performers in a circus. Using imagination and creativity, this performer shows how to change characters using voice, movement, and facial expression. Children learn that the things that make us different also make us special.

Children ages 3 through grade three are invited to attend the 9:30 a.m. performance in the Chesapeake Academy gymnasium in Irvington.

Contact Hilary Scott at 804-438-5575 or to make a reservation for this program.

PALS programming is funded by the Wiley Foundation with support from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
