Ware Academy students are spreading their global wings
The lower school students (grades 3-5) of Ware Academy have been undergoing a project that is bigger than their wings can spread. With the help of the Symbolic Migration project, students in the third, fourth and fifth grades in Mexico and North America will learn more about Monarch butterflies and one another.

‘Discovery Days’ sessions begin Jan. 26
imageLooking for a fun and creative hands-on experience for your child on a cold Saturday winter morning? Chesapeake Academy will host three “Discovery Days” this winter as a means to bring early childhood and elementary school families in the community together with enriching age-appropriate activities.


Governor’s School awarded Bay Fund grant
Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School (CBGS) was recently awarded a grant from the Chesapeake Bay Restoration Fund. The grant proposal, written by CBGS faculty, requested funding to support the purchase of electronic probeware to be used during CBGS field courses and in science classrooms.


Governor’s School plans meeting with 9th-graders
The Middlesex County Public School System invites current 9th grade families to attend an informational meeting about the Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School (CBGS) for Marine and Environmental Science on Thursday, January 17, at 6:30 p.m.
