Newtzie to bear mace at RCC Commencement
At Rappahannock Community College’s 38th Commencement ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 10, on the front lawn of the Warsaw Campus, the honor of bearing the college mace in the procession has been awarded to Dr. Karen Newtzie, a professor of speech communications.

Ware Academy’s Fine and Performing Arts Department wowed the audiences for both spring concerts held on April 15-16 at Abingdon Episcopal Church in White Marsh. The performances were a part of Grandparents Day celebrations, an annual event held to honor grandparents and their traditions and family values.

On April 16-17 five students from Middlesex High and five students from St. Clare Walker Middle School participated in the annual Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula Area Chorus concert at West Point High School.
