Willow Pedersen, an eighth-grader at West Point Middle School, placed first in the Prose Interpretation event of the Virginia High School League (VHSL) Regional Forensics Tournament. Pederson will perform her piece, an exciting excerpt from “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins, at the VHSL State Forensics Tournament on March 24 in Harrisonburg.
Joshua Brown graduated on February 24 from the Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) with an Air Conditioning and Heating Technology Diploma. ATI’s HVAC program is an approved two-year degree granting institution by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia and ACCSC.
