Eades inducted into honor society
The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is pleased to announce that Michael Eades of Urbanna was recently initiated into Phi Kappa Phi —the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

ACDS Bull & BBQ Music Festival to feature 3 bands
This year the annual spring event at Aylett Country Day School (ACDS) is “changing its tune” a little. On Saturday, April 13, ACDS will host its Bull and BBQ Music Festival from 4:30-9:30 p.m., featuring three live bands, barbecue and pit-cooked beef, soft drinks, and craft and domestic beers.


VIMS offers ‘Make a Splash with Trash’ one-day camps
During area schools’ spring break, the Virginia Institute of Marine Science will offer one-day “Make a Splash with Trash” camps on Wednesday, April 3, and Thursday, April 4, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. each day at Beaverdam Park, 8687 Roaring Springs Rd., Gloucester.
