Gloucester seamstress offers free altered prom dresses to area teens
Fary operates an alterations shop in the Village Trade Center near the court circle in Gloucester Court House. She has collected prom dresses and formal gowns, offering them free of charge to Middlesex, Gloucester or Mathews girls. She calls it the “Fary Godmother” program.

Discovery Day is Saturday
Just as “one thing leads to another,” Eric Carle’s masterpiece of children’s literature, The Very Grouchy Ladybug, will provide a springboard to creatively exploring the sequence of things at Chesapeake Academy’s upcoming Discovery Day on Saturday, March 19, from 9:30-11 a.m.


Entrepreneur workshop is March 16 at RCC
On Wednesday, March 16, a workshop titled "Entrepreneur Express: Moving Your Business Forward" will be held for aspiring entrepreneurs and developing businesses at Rappahannock Community College, Glenns Campus, at 8:30 a.m.
