Schools seek $350,000 increase in local funds
The Middlesex County school system will receive from the state and federal government in 2012-13 (FY13), the school board held a public hearing on March 22 on a proposed $13,947,543 budget. The cost of the $3.5 million Syd Thrift Athletic Complex will not be in the school budget; it will be in the county budget as requested by the board of supervisors.

imageLancaster Middle School sixth-graders joined Chesapeake Academy Middle School students last week for a one-hour lecture by Julien Patterson, founder and CEO of Omniplex and a nationally known motivational speaker.


Students visit historic sites in Philadelphia

CCS students travel to China
imageA group of 18 Christchurch School students took the trip of a lifetime when they traveled to China this spring with CCS Chinese instructor Richard Kronick and English teacher Steve Kasold. Prior to teaching at Christchurch, Kronick and his wife, Sugar, lived in China for more than four years.
