Longtime Middlesex math teacher to retire
She started out as a Pupil Enrichment Program (gifted and talented) teacher at old Rappahannock Central Elementary and old Wilton Elementary School, and at old St. Clare Walker Middle School. She headed this program from 1987 to 1992. In the fall of 1992, she transferred to Middlesex High School where she began a career of teaching math.

On June 10, Middlesex Elementary School first grade students came to Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park for a field trip. Students visited the museum where they learned about the boatbuilding heritage of the county and much more.
06.15.2011MHS Band Boosters present scholarships
May 17 officially marked the end of the performance season for the Middlesex High School Concert Band. The spring concert was held in the St. Clare Walker Middle School auditorium to a packed house. Spectators enjoyed the music from the 6th grade band, 7th and 8th grade concert band and the MHS concert band.
06.15.2011Gloria Johnson will be honored at a reception Thursday
For over 40 years that smile, pleasant personality and dedicated nature have played a positive role in Mrs. Johnson’s duties in the Middlesex County School System. She plans to retire at the end of this school year and on Thursday, June 9, from 3-5 p.m. she will be honored with a reception at the Cooks Corner Office Complex.
