Christchurch School Honor Society raises funds for Sudanese school
For six years, Christchurch School Community Service Coordinator Dr. Laurie White has organized Christchurch students and faculty to raise money for, and participate in, Hope for Humanity’s annual Walk for Sudan in Richmond.

‘Cinderella’ opens at Christchurch
The public is invited for a night of entertainment when students and faculty of Christchurch School present the whimsical musical sensation, “Cinderella,” February 19-21 at 8 p.m. each night in the Marston Gymnasium.

Osprey Scholarship available
Chesapeake Academy has announced a $3,500 scholarship to be awarded to one outstanding new 4th, 5th, or 6th grade boy or girl enrolling at the independent school in Irvington for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Supervisors want education cuts to be temporary
The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors has sent a letter to State Delegate Harvey Morgan stating that they are strongly opposed to the State of Virginia “permanently” cutting funds for education.
