Ware Academy seeks information on school alumni
Ware Academy is encouraging all of its alumni, which date back more than six decades, to visit the school website at and fill out an alumni form. “We would love to know where all of our alumni are now and be able to share their stories with the community,” said Ginger James, Ware Academy director of admissions.

GED ‘cram’ sessions set at three sites
Want a quick brush-up before taking the pen and paper GED test for the last time? Come cram with Middle Peninsula R.A.C.E. (MP RACE) and then take the test. It is all free of charge and open to the public.


YMCA Preschool
The Middlesex Family YMCA preschool class is thriving with Mrs. Judy and Mrs. Susan at the helm. The small class size is allowing for more one-on-one learning time and the knowledge of children between the two teachers is priceless.


Friends of RCC Library invites public to meet Civil War expert
A wine-and-cheese author event at Belle Mount Winery in Warsaw at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 25, will introduce the nationally-renowned Dr. James I. “Bud” Robertson Jr. to interested area residents. The event is being sponsored by the Rappahannock Community College Friends of the Library.
