‘Backpack Buddy’ seeks sponsors
The Backpack Buddy program sponsored through The Cryer Center provides backpacks of food for needy children in Middlesex County every weekend and on school vacations throughout the year. Each pack has enough food for three meals a day for each child who receives it.
08.24.2011Charger Football Boosters spaghetti dinner is Saturday
The Middlesex High School Charger Football Boosters will hold a take-out spaghetti dinner on Saturday, August 20. Dinners will be available for pick up at the front bay doors of the Urbanna Firehouse from 5-7 p.m. Due to construction at the firehouse, parking is available across the street at Urbanna Market.

Middlesex County Public Schools has announced its policy for providing free or reduced price meals for children served under the National School Lunch, and/or School Breakfast Programs. Each school and/or central school nutrition office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.
