Kindergarten signup set for April 2 at MES
Kindergarten registration is set for Thursday, April 2, at Middlesex Elementary School from 2 to 6 p.m. The registration is for all children entering school who will have reached his/her fifth birthday by September 30, 2009. Parents are encouraged to bring their child with them to registration.

Bowling will benefit MHS band
The Middlesex High School Band Boosters Association (BBA) and Village Lanes in Gloucester will host an-all night bowling event on Friday, April 3, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. at Village Lanes.

Christchurch students to study erosion
Students in Dr. Dean Goodwin’s marine science classes at Christchurch School are collaborating this spring with students in Randolph-Macon College’s Advanced Environmental Problem-Solving Class in order to resolve a real-world problem.

Ware rings in spring with Bell Choir performance
Aaron Ward, Ware Academy music teacher and alumnus, directed Ware Academy’s first ever Bell Choir in its début concert on March 12 at Abingdon Episcopal Church in Gloucester. Every grade participated in writing the school’s new Alma Mater and the students were proud to sing it in front of a sold-out show.
