Middlesex students participate in online gubernatorial forum
On November 5, Virginia residents will elect Republican candidate and current Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, or Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe as Governor. Both candidates have faced hard-hitting questions from the media, political pundits, and constituents, yet this year they may have encountered their hardest audience to date—students.

MHS wins statewide seatbelt challenge
Middlesex High School and Forest Middle School in Bedford County are the statewide winners of the 2013 “Save Your Tail-Gate, Buckle Up” campaign sponsored by Youth of Virginia Speak Out About Traffic Safety, the Virginia State Police Association, and the Allstate Foundation.


GED tests offered
There will be GED testing on Tuesday, November 12, and Thursday, November 14, from 5-9 p.m. at Acquinton Elementary School, 18550 King William Road, King William. Call 888-769-1151 to register by November 5.


Homecoming Picnic set for Nov. 8 at MHS
Middlesex High School will host a Homecoming Community Picnic on Friday, November 8, on the front lawn of MHS. The picnic will begin at 4:30 p.m.
