Ware catches a wave with Atlantic Rising
Ware Academy has been chosen as one of 30 stops along the Atlantic coast for the international research group Atlantic Rising, which is a small group of anthropological scientists on a 32,000-mile journey circumnavigating the Atlantic seaboard along the 1M contour line.

Children are natural scientists, frequently asking questions about the world around them and how it works. But ask a child to draw a picture of a scientist, and they will most often sketch someone who looks nothing like themselves—an older white male with unkempt hair and a lab coat, holding a beaker in his hand and pens in his pocket.

October 7 was a special day for the Teachers for Tomorrow Cadets from Middlesex High School. They participated in Jumpstart’s Read for the Record program to promote early childhood literacy by reading “The Snowy Day” by Ezra Jack Keats to over 100 Middlesex Elementary School students.
