Free back-to-school haircuts offered Aug. 26 at The Cryer Center
On Saturday, August 26, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., free haircuts will be offered to all children returning to school. There will be four hairstylists from Coiffures By Joanne at the Cryer Center in Locust Hill to offer this free service.

Want to paint rocks?
NNK Rocks, a social media phenomenon painting and hiding rocks, is coming to the Rappahannock Art League (RAL) Art Center from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, August 4. The event is free for all participants and will be held on the sidewalk in front of the RAL Art Center at 19 North Main Street in Kilmarnock, reported Barry Beswick.
