Bands’ fruit sale continues
The St. Clare Walker and Middlesex High School Bands’ Fruit Sale is under way. Sales will continue through October 23. Fruit will be delivered to you on November 20.

MHS homecoming parade is Oct. 27; game is Nov. 2
Middlesex High School’s homecoming football game and crowning of the queen and king have been rescheduled for Thursday, November 2, at 7 p.m. at MHS in Saluda against Mathews. The queen and king will be crowned at halftime.

Presidents and First Ladies are subjects of RILL course
The Rappahannock Community College Educational Foundation’s Rappahannock Institute for Lifelong Learning (RILL) will provide an intimate look at several historic personages in “Presidents and First Ladies of New Kent and Charles City, Virginia.”

Culinary class offered at RCC
Well-known chef Hatley Bright will be featured by the Rappahannock Community College Educational Foundation’s Rappahannock Institute for Lifelong Learning (RILL) in “Make-Ahead Meals,” a single-session course to be held at RCC’s Kilmarnock Center on Friday, October 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
