Students, teachers sought to participate in James River ‘floating classroom’
The James River Association is accepting applications for its annual James River Expedition, a “floating classroom” that takes students down the 340-mile length of the James River.

Vest earns rank of Eagle Scout
imageEric Vest was recognized as an Eagle Scout on February 10 and became the 108th Eagle in Troop 19, which was first sponsored in 1958 by Huntersville Presbyterian Church in Huntersville, N.C.


MES students celebrate the 100th day of school
On February 19, kindergartners at Middlesex Elementary School (MES) in the classes of Mrs. Murfee and Mrs. Thomas, and 5th-graders in the classes of Ms. McNamee and Mrs. Saul, teamed up to celebrate the 100th day of school at MES.


College planning workshop set
The public is invited to Christchurch School on Thursday, March 20, from 6:30-8 p.m. for an informative evening with experts in college planning. There is no charge for this event, but you need to reserve a seat.
