Tougher academic standards proposed for MHS athletes
At its June 12 meeting, the Middlesex County School Board approved a first reading of new guidelines pertaining to grade point average (GPA) requirements for students participating in athletics at Middlesex High School.

Academy names executive board
imageResponsible for setting the school’s mission, establishing and reviewing board policy, and ensuring the school has the funds and resources necessary to fulfill its mission, the Chesapeake Academy Board of Trustees is composed of business leaders from the community, parents, and friends of the school.


Moye awarded Ware Founders’ Scholarship
The Founders’ Scholarship was named in honor of the original founders of Ware Academy. The program was established in 2005, with a scholarship offered to qualified candidates.  


Burch earns degree in registered nursing
Patrick, Jackson and Liliana Burch of Water View, along with friends and family, proudly announce that Ashland Stein Burch has graduated from East Coast Polytechnic Institute & University College of Health Science.
