CA teacher attends ‘Teaching the Holocaust’
Hillary M. Smith, the middle school literature and pre-algebra teacher at Chesapeake Academy, attended the Teacher’s Education Institute (TEI) course on teaching the Holocaust over the summer.

Chesapeake Academy announces new members of board of trustees
The Chesapeake Academy Board of Trustees supports the mission of the school by creating and implementing the school’s strategic plan. The board recently welcomed six new members. Bill Chapman is a graduate of VCU and a recipient of the University’s Alumni Star Award “recognizing top VCU alumni for their community, humanitarian, professional achievements, and university service.”
