Academic dean retires from RCC
imageSince 1964, when 18-year-old Nuala Glennon emigrated from Ireland to the United States in search of employment, she has earned two degrees and accumulated decades of job experience, culminating in her 2002 appointment as Rappahannock Community College’s Glenns Campus dean. She retired at the end of December.

GED testing scheduled
Middle Peninsula R.A.C.E. will conduct GED testing on January 10 and 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Acquinton Elementary School, 18550 King William Road, King William. If interested in taking the GED test, please call the MP R.A.C.E. office at 804-769-1151 for more information and registration.


RCC meets with high school representatives
Two recent meetings allowed Rappahannock Community College administrators to share information with area high school principals and counselors about the many dual enrollment and other educational opportunities that the college makes available.


For 13th year, MHS ‘Elves’ help children with cancer
imageKnown as project ASK (Association For The Support of Children With Cancer), the state service project for FBLA has been the cornerstone of the MHS chapter’s community service since 1998. In the 13 years the FBLA has been dedicated to the ASK cause, Middlesex “Elves” have become well known throughout the ASK community.
