Leggett will head school system’s gifted program
“This is something that she pursued and we are grateful for what she has done for us at Middlesex High School. I think she will enhance the gifted education program,” said superintendent Rusty Fairheart. “She has a wide range of talents. We wanted her to have what she desired.”

Scouts attend Camp Shenandoah
imageScouts from Boy Scout Troop 341 recently returned from a week at Camp Shenandoah in Swoope near Staunton. The experience of each Scout determined the program that each Scout participated. TJ Banks and Will Fochtmann, the troop’s newest members, participated in the Timber Mountain program. This program is designed especially for first-year Scouts.
