MHS auditorium to be named for Betty Chowning
Betty Chowning, a former music teacher at Middlesex High School, will have the high school auditorium named in her honor by the Middlesex County School Board. Mrs. Chowning was a chorus and music teacher in the county school system for 29 years, most of which were at Middlesex High School.

On Friday, April 8, the members of the Middlesex High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) traveled to Reston to participate and compete in the FBLA State Leadership Conference.

Several seniors from the Middlesex High School gifted program visited the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) in Gloucester Point to volunteer with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) to build oyster reef balls.
